In the Game boy in the game in black and white?

I'm not sure if with the gameboy colour the only thing that is different is that the console itself comes in bright colours but in terms of the game play it doesn't actually make a difference. Is that so?

The original Gameboy actually had 4 shades of black, so it'd be technically more accurate to call it "Grey and White" ;-)

The Gameboy Colour has a colour screen - although the hardware isn't powerful enough to render 3D graphics, so essentially, the gameplay is limited to 2D games, in the same way it was on the orginal Gameboy.

The gameboy only plays "game boy" games.
The gameboy color can play both "game boy" and "game boy color" games.

There isn't a huge amount of "game boy color" games available anyway.
It's been 5 years since Nintendo released another model, the game boy advance ( which can play all previous models' games and also a load of excellent games released in the last 5 years )

and the gameboy SP is essentially just the gameboy advance, in a flip unit.
