Norton 360 Gold Edition Internet Security

I brought a Norton Gold Edition internet security and when I tried to install it I discovered that the product Key had already been activated by some else, I contacted PC world and they agreed that I could exchange it for another one, however when I tried install the replacement Norton Gold 360 the same thing happened. Can any one explain to me what is going on with these Norton security.

Ratter15: The answer that I recieved on the 20th did not answer my question, ie I was advised to seek help from fair trading, I want to know why the product key would already be activated when I brought the Norton 360.
