Based upon a 70 light string consuming 4 watts (which is quoted on Wikipedia and seems to be largely supported elsewhere), each LED uses 4/70W = 0.05714 W. So, over an hour, each LED uses 0.00005714 kWh. If (taking the figures from a recent electricity bill) we assume that electricity is charged at 12.744p per kWh (+ 5% VAT) that makes the cost of running 1 LED =...

So, over an hour, each LED uses 0.00005714 kWh. If (taking the figures from a recent electricity bill) we assume that electricity is charged at 12.744p per kWh (+ 5% VAT) that makes the cost of running 1 LED = 0.00076464p or "less than one thousandth of a penny" or to use Z-M's much better answer "so little it's not worth bothering about"!
