You need to file a notice of dissassociaiton.
However, this is a notice that disassociates you from any future financial associations. It does not mean that you can get out of any current agreements.
If the credit card is in your name, then I am afraid you are liable regardless (unless of course there is fraud involved).
If it is your partners credit card and you are named, then the agreement has nothing to do with you anyway.
Hope this helps.

Is the credit card in both names?? If your talking about an extra cardholder then you simply need to contact the credit card lender and tell them you want to remove your extra cardholder. Im not sure what you mean by disassociate from a partners bill unless you are an extra cardholder why would you be associated with it? If you let me know what you mean I will come back later with hopefully a more helpful answer for you.
