I've got a similar layout to this, but there are four downloads shown that I have not loaded. I have run the instal wizard to remove and then re-instal the download player, but there's no change. I might uninstal iplayer, then r-instal it from scratch.

If you use the file explorer then you should find that the videos that iPlayer uses are saved in the Documents folder, in the 'My Videos' subfolder and the 'BBC iPlayer Downloads' subfolder within that. You can simply delete all the files in there if there is nothing that you want to keep.
Update. I finally got the screen display that bibblebub showed me. I now realise that I have to click "Download" after selecting any program. This brings up the selection screen I couldn't find. Again, thanks to all respondents.
