How To Sign Out Of You Tube?

I have just set up a You Tube account, or at least that’s what I thought I had done, so I could comment on a music video. It now refuses to let me do anything without verification; it wants my phone number and address?? I refuse to do this and thought I’d just log out, but I can’t find anything to log out with? I have clicked on my email address thinking it would give me options but all it does is flick the screen to a different one. I’m upset I did this now, it’s something I dont usually do. Can anyone help me to log out please?

There is normally a "skip" option on these pages.

I use Google and YouTube a lot and while I have been asked to enter info like that I never have, I just select "skip".
