Electricity Meter - The Most Awkward Job.

I give my electricity meter readings on line, but reading the meter is the most cussed, awkward job in my home. The meter is tucked away in the back of my airing cupboard behind other electrical equipment. Not being a agile person it means sitting on a chair leaning awkwardly sideways, with torch in one hand and trying to write figures with the other hand. The figures on the meter change every 2-3 seconds. Does anyone else have this problem and how do you deal with it?

I think it is an aim to put these meters in as awkward a place as possible,I have to go down on all fours to read mine?

Meters have to be changed every so many years. Maybe contact your supplier and explain your difficulty.

Is there any chance of having the meter moved to a plastic cabinet outside?
