my video remote!

is playing havock with my tv! it changes the channel, puts on teletext and even goes to factory setting menu, which i was told by the bloke who came to fix it, i was not supposed to be able to gain access to!

it is driving us round the twist! anyone know how i can resolve this?

not being funny boob but i'd get the guy back who was supposed to fix it back to fix it!

 

Obviously your remotes giving out the wrong frequencies....Why not go and buy a 4-in-1 for �9.99....hopefully it's not the TV.

Perhaps it has lost it's settings if it is an off the peg handset. In the manual it should tell you how to reprogram it. Before doing that, try refitting the batteries after removal for a minute or so.
