Ray the DJ - if I understand your comment correctly you say the laser moves in close to the head while burning a CD. If this is so then normally when just playing a CD the Laser is out of the way. My point being that when you use one of these cleaning CD's in a standard audio player you just play the CD. If you do this on a writer and just play the CD then does the laser not stay out of the way. I would have thought that if what you say is correct then damage would only occur when trying to burn info onto the cleaning CD? Forgive me if I'm wrong but I would be pleased if you could clarify this. Cheers
