How Do I Make A Copy Of A Cd ?

First 'rip' the tracks to your computer and then burn them to a CD. Instructions here:

Thanks guys, but dont understand any of that at all, sorry. I was wanting to copy a Spanish language cd for my students.I will have to find someone that can show me x

Tam.. make sure you have Windows media player installed by checking all programmes on start up menu

Insert CD a pop up will appear asking what you want to do...select media player option...when that window appears click on rip at top of page..the CD will then copy to library..this will take a few minutes...CD will show in your music library...remove this CD once ripping is completed ..put in New CD..open library in media player ..select CD that you want to copy then click on burn...you may be given further speed options etc ..just follow pop ups accordingly....once disc is burned it will pop out !

Just before you get started, are you sure that you're legally allowed to make copies?

jeffa, the law has recently changed and everyone is legally allowed to make a copy of their cd, either on to another cd or in another format.

tamaris, any r or rw cd will do.

Not to give copies to others who would otherwise have had to buy it!

Any CD will do tam.....don't worry about making copies..you're not selling them or having public screenings for money !
