I've just been selected to test products for Tesco, anyone else do this? Do you get some decent stuff to try out?

Let us know. They've sent me a few emails.
I've had quite a few spam emails asking me to test free ipads/hoovers etc
Sorry, clicked and submitted by accident before I'd finished.
Did you apply for it, rockyracoon? How was it advertised?
mrs FF does testing via a company related to her employer- we get good main course meals about once a fortnight

Will do Ummmmm.

FF, I got an email from Tesco and had to apply via a Tesco website, after filling in a form I had to write a review about a product that I'd recently used. Did that and they sent me an email about 3 weeks later (last week) saying I'd been successful, had to watch a quick video, and answer a couple of questions. Now I just wait to see if I get a trial come up.

I bet all I get is fabric conditioner ;)
Even fabric conditioner is better than nothing.
As long as it isn't a taste test.
Question Author
Ooh, I wouldn't mind a taste test, especially if it's wine ;)
I have my fingers crossed for you :-)
How much are they paying you?
I did a market test for Fairy. They sent me a big bottle of a new "flavour" washing up liquid and I had to return a questionnaire when it was finished.

I was quite happy to get a free bottle of Fairy.
I do surveys online and one company sometimes asks me to product test - as said you get paid for the survey and get to keep the product.

Had all sorts from Beauty Serums, Fabric Conditioner, Cooking oil Sprays etc.
I hope they wouldn't send me fabric conditioner, I don't use it.... :-(

On another testing site, I was recently sent a new grapefruit juice to test. I can't drink grapefruit, medication won't allow it :-(
^ Dammit, that was me not him.... :-)
I was a panelist for Tesco baby stuff, remember getting loads of nappies to test.
@sherrardk......Did you choose to be a Nappie Tester or was the category allocated to you.

My mind is along that of rockyracoon ^^^ A wine Taster. hic. hic. would be ideal.

Hans.

Lol Jordy, I bloody hope not.

Naomi, no you don't get paid, you get to keep whatever you get sent, hopefully it will be pretty decent occasionally.
I doubt Jordyboy9 that Tesco has any Condominions; unless the firm has such property in the USA.

Hans.
I got thrown off the panel. I got cat food to trial - two different varieties. The first load made Frankie barf so I told them that I wasn't willing to feed him the second load. They threw me off for not finishing the survey.

It was supposed to be tested by the two feline tasters ~ but Merlin looked at he food, screamed and ran off. She is a little stupid so I presumed it scared her ~ but she maybe knew that it was bad cat food.

Question Author
That's a bit much woofy, how can you feed your cat food that might make it sick. They'll get the same response from me if they try to get me to feed my furry horror dodgy food.
Maybe not animal lovers?

I also got a pack of the big chunky sanitary towels to test out. I didn't think that those things actually existed any more.
