Hi there, I bought an item of furniture off ebay for £65. The seller was away for nearly a week when I wanted to collect (they didn't mention this) and now are being very difficult about delivering. I have asked for a refund and they say they are happy to refund but will only refund £60 because they will still get charged seller fees. Is this correct? If the money is refunded through eBay will they still get charged seller fees or are any fees cancelled once the money is refunded? Please help. Many thanks.

They will not get charged seller fees if the sale is voided. There is a mechanism for this. Buyer and seller both have to agree to cancel the transaction.
This is done through the "resolution centre"

Thanks, I'll see what happens. I have told them they shouldn't get charged and to see if they can cancel the transaction their end and give me a full refund. Fingers crossed!
