Replace Bath With Shower

To make life easier as we are getting older, we want to take out the bath and replace it with a shower. The trouble is we have no spare tiles for the wall. Any ideas what we can do without a complete retile. Not keen on those shower enclosures advertised and we wouldn't have the room as the sink overhangs the bath slightly

we did this and had a corner unit put in with a mira shower ,we had tiles down to the bath and managed to match them for the shower unit at a resonable price .
ps we are both quite large and the shower is roomy .
You could put in a "dado" set of tiles under your originals and put a new lot underneath. Something like this (hope the link works)

I was thinking along the same lines as Jo.
you can also get sheeting instead of tiles..better as there is no grouting to clean ..don't know what it is called but any builder/plumber DIY place will know what you mean if you say it is for wall in shower..mum has it and it is great stuff..
If you are replacing a bath with a shower then surely that should have a smaller footprint and basins that presently overhang your bath, no longer a problem ?

If you are set against an enclosure you can simply retile where tiles are missing. Choose the colour/style carefully and you should be able to create the effect that you deliberately tiled the shower corner to stand out from the rest of the room.
