Without cheating/googling do you know maximum age for potential jurors?

I didn't - my guess was out by 10 or 15 years (the maximum age is about to rise again).

I'll post the answer in a few minutes time - but have a guess first.

Currently 70 - about to rise to 75.

Would you be happy to serve at that age?

I thought 70
Dave...I wouldn't want to serve at the age I am now....at 75...no chance...x
If I had all my marbles, yes, I suppose so.
Actually it is 69, odd figure, but I believe they are going to raise it to 75
i would not want to do it ever again at any age...gruesome murder in The High Court
Yes, as long as I still had capacity!
I wasn't happy at 42, Dave. I certainly wouldn't want to do it again at 75.
Yes I would be happy to serve at that age as I would probably be glad to get out of the house and have something to occupy my mind.
Tilly....I am retired....I want to get up when I like....weeks or months of getting up early to drive thirty miles or so....to sit on a jury....not for me....☺
The case OH was jury spokesman was so gruesome that the judge excused them for life
I've never been called but know several who have and they seemed to spend most of their time waiting around doing nothing. I expect it depends which court you attend.
Have 'they' said why they want to raise the age limit, Dave ?.
