I have used Itunes for a good few years but have recently had to relent and update the latest updates and decided to delete my library and start again. But for a reason unknown to me it is insisting that some albums I place into my library goes into a playlist on the side bar and I cannot move to be solely and album.

An example of an album is - DJ Shadow - Endtroducing

I figure it may be because the album is a continual play between tracks but other albums are doing the same thing despite not being a continual play between tracks.

Can anyone help me with this? Also why did they change the shuffle function and can I get around that also? I used to be able to create a playlist and shuffle it on my PC and the plug my Ipod in and it would sync in that shuffled state.

I am severely frustrated with this software currently, help!

Hi GF, Not your main point I know but I'm interested to see your comment about the 'Shuffle' facility. I used it exactly as you did and I am very frustrated that it was removed at one of the updates. Why do Apple do this, they certainly aren't advocates of the 'If it ain't broke don't fix it' philosophy which is so, so pertinent. Did you ever get an answer as to why they did it?
