Any Tv Engineers Please....

We recently had to unplug our TV (Sky+) for a couple of days while skimming the walls. However on switching back on we can't get rid of the blue information bar across the bottom of the screen...eg. we switch to channel 1 and the blue bar showing channel 1 and programme name used to fade off the screen but now it stays. Anyone any ideas of how to get back to normal please. 'Someone' denies doing anything....help.

Is it perhaps the info bar of the tv rather than the sky box?

If you press the Services button on your remote, then go into Options, then Customise. You should see the settings for the "Search And Scan Banner Timeout". Change it and see if that makes any difference.

If you google there seems to be a lot of other people who have had similar problems. A planner rebuild seems to have been the answer but try reading some other forum posts on this problem.
