My husband has a Fuji s9600 digital camera and has spoke about getting himself a spotting scope for photographing wildlife and the moon and planets. I would like to get him one as a gift but have no clue where to start. MODEL MOST COMPATABLE WITH A FUJI CAMERA , SIZE , STRAIGHT OR ANGLED , ADAPTERS ETC
Any help would be much appreciated x

A 'Spotting Scope' is Not an attachment for a Camera but a piece of seperate equipment to magnify and view things; as one would with binoculars. :-

I regret that I have very little experience of Spotting Scopes and, as prices vary considerably, I hesitate to recommend one of the many which are available.

Hans.

(I have no connection with the author of that link, nor do I recommend his wares but it will tell you what to ask for and what extra bits of kit you will need.)
If you need a starting point for which scope to go for I recommend Nikon kit. Their lenses are hard to beat at their price points.
