its straight up!! must be, i saw it on yahoo. well apparently you fold the paper in 1/2 shortest side to shortest side, then again, then again, then again. then you fold this multi folded paper in the other direction in 1/2, and then use it as a lever to open the top of the bottle.

Personally I'd use a bottle opener and use the paper to write a letter.

Old habbits die hard,I still carry a bottle opener on my keyring. I've had it that long it's even got the tri-angular pointy bit you needed before they invented pull rings

I always have a waiter's friend style corkscrew with me.

You never know when you might need to open a bottle of wine.

Also, if anyone ever attacked me, I'd be able to run away while they were busy unscrewing the corkscrew from their nose. That's not the reason for carrying it, obviously.

I suppose a piece of paper might work just as well.
