Unless you're scattering them along the Serpentine in the middle of a Sunday afternoon in summer, I'm not sure anyone would actually notice

Some years ago I was helping out at the family funeral business when we arranged the cremation of an elderly lady. She had two sons who had long since fallen out and one had moved away. The remaining son asked us to scatter the ashes in the garden at the crematorium, which we did.
Two years later, the other son turned up and asked us if we had arranged his mother's funeral. He asked what we had done with the ashes and we told him. He then said
"I was entitled to half of those ashes, do you think you could get them back."
It is not often I am stuck for words......
