Would like some opinions on PVC ceilings in a bathroom,please.

However, for best effect, you'll need to rewire the lighting. A single light might look out of place; something like this would be better:

Fix battens to the ceiling first (25 x 50mm treated timber.) Fix the cladding to the battens.
Apart from being a better job, it would allow you to run lighting cable through the void (space between the ceiling and the uPVC.) This way you can have as many lights as you like without having to get access above the ceiling.
