Employment Tribunal Time Limit
2 Answers
Friend got made redundant on 31 st march. He did early conciliation with acas on 3rd april. On 3rd may they issued certificate
.We are aware of 3 months less one day but time in acas needs to be factored in .
His Advisor who got a bit confused has given a date -which seems to fit in but can anyone confirm his deadline date for tribunal (for unfair dismmissal) as i just want to compare with what advisor said
Thanks

"The deadline for making a claim to the tribunal is extended by the amount of time you spend in conciliation. For example, if you spend 2 weeks in conciliation, the deadline is 2 weeks later. You’ll always get at least one month to make a claim".
