Buying A New Phone ...?

I have a Samsung Galaxy Fame bought from Tesco and with their contract. I think I have had it over two years so can cancel the old contract, although wondering whether to stay with Tesco. However I am thinking of buying a new phone, possibly secondhand from cash converters but better than mine so I can use Internet etc. as mine isn't very good for that. So which would be the best contract deal, to keep the same phone number, do I have to buy a Samsung, can I transfer all my contacts as well? I would like an Apple as I have an ipad mini.. I am not technical so easy answers please. Thanks all. Is cash converters a good place to buy?

However Cash Converters is a franchise operation, so each business is actually independently run. That tends to mean that some branches are better than others. Their prices on many things often seem to be unreasonably high to me. You might find that CeX can offer you a better deal:

There is a new android Moto G due for release which already has rave reviews. It is classed as a budget phone but has 4G, fast browsing and full access to Google Play for all the apps you could ever want for around £150. I would buy that over a second hand iPhone simply because I think iPhones are over priced for the average user. On contract I would expect it to be free for £18-£20 a month and there should be no problem keeping your existing number.
You could buy it outright and take out a SIM only contract for around £10 a month and still keep your phone number.
