Loss Of Dab Signal In My Valley
8 Answers
Since Saturday afternoon, we have lost the DAB signal in the Swansea Valley. We get our DAB signal from the Varteg transmitter, and I have gone onto the following site to see what is going on :::
https:/ /ukfree .tv/tra nsmitte rs/dab/ Varteg_ Hill
It looks as if there was some planned outage on Saturday, but despite what it says on this link, its still not working. I have tried to find a telephone number to report this problem to but have been successful.....Does anyone have any idea of who I need to call this morning ?

My own constituency, Gower, went Tory in May, but only by 27 votes, so I am fairly certain that after nearly 100 years as a Labour stronghold, we can win the seat back in 2020. By the way, it looks as if UKIP were responsible for the change, not an overriding love of the Tory Party.

The RTIS website is also only showing problems last Saturday. (I've used the postcode for Clydach Post Office, as that's in the relevant reception area):

Try a phone call to RTIS on 03709 016 789.

Thanks for the help Buenchico...I have been trying to find that ruddy telephone number since Saturday ! I have spoken to a charming chap in Belfast, and he was at least able to confirm that they are aware of the continuing problem with the Varteg Hill Tx. I was assured that the Engineers were working on the problem, and he acknowledged that the website not being updated wasn't very helpful. So a success of sorts !
Once again...ta muchly.
