Ebay Running Slow In Windows 8.1 - Answer!!
0 Answers
This is not a question but rather something which may help anyone with slow running problems in Windows 8.1 particularly using Ebay and some other sites.
It takes me ages to scroll thu ebay and I believe that this is due to IE 11 and nothing else! Speaking to experts in the USA it seems that IE11 is not completely compatible with 8.1 on some sites on Win 8 and MS have yet to sort it out.
I like IE and do not wish to ditch it for say Firefox, Opera, Chrome etc. however............I downloaded Firefox a week ago and keep it on my desktop for when i have a problem site and when I now go into ebay thru Firefox it is superb and scolls thru fast without the 'jittering' I was getting with IE. I do not like Firefox for everyday use as the bookmark system and general layout does not suit me (I like IE Favorites) so I just put the bookmarks toolbar in Firefox and added ebay and a couple of other 'slow sites' to it for ease of access. My wife says Firefox is much better for M&S which is very slow!
I am not a computer 'geek' rather someone elderly who has spent hours trying to sort out this problem and it works for me!
Hope this helps some of you with this problem.
