Zanussi Washing Machine Audible Signal Gone Quiet

Hi there...I have a digital washing machine Zanussi ZWF1227W. It bleeps when you select the program and bleeps to tell you the cycle has finished. It's stopped bleeping. Can anyone tell me which buttons I press to reinstate the bleeping sounds?

Well if the machine still washes rinses and spins my first check would be my hearing aid battery. :-)

The little Zanussi engineer sits all day waiting for a phone call as repairs to their washing machines are so rarely required. Remember their ad. on TV a few years ago. !!

I had a look at the manual http://www.zanussi.co.uk/Support/Manuals/
but there's nothing I could see about switching on/off the beeper.
Their customer help line is: 03445 612 612
One thing I always try is just disconnect from the mains for a couple of minutes, then reconnect. A fresh 'boot-up' sometimes works. Good luck.
