Problem With Bt8500 Call Blocker

My BT8500 call blocker suddenly decided to block some of my contact numbers and trying everything I was not able to unblock them. The only option was to delete them all and put them in again.
Does anybody know why it did this ?
Any easy way to rectify ?

Is your caller ID still active - to turn on cli or check its on you will need to contact bt on 0800 800 150 and ask for cli to be switched on. it may be chargeable or free depending on what calling package you have. you can also do it at bt.com
