Perhaps something along the lines of the following might help though:
"I was employed at Bloggs Street Primary School, Toughtown, (from September 2013 to July 2015) as a classroom assistant, working with Year 2 children. Although my duties were varied, the main areas of my work involved developing both verbal and written English skills with the children (for many of whom English was not their first language) and assisting with the teaching of Key Stage 1 mathematics. I was also fortunate in that the school provided many field trips for the children, where I particularly enjoyed helping them learn from new experiences.
I have also been employed at Little Darlings Nursery School, Smugtown, (from September 2012 to July 2013), where I enjoyed teaching children core skills (such as tying their shoelaces) as much as I did helping with their introduction to basic numeracy, etc. As a confident guitar player, I was also much in demand to assist with developing music skills"
