I have suffered an appalling breach of my privacy, not unlike this guy. I had all my settings set to the highest possible setting, and yet my FB profile somehow became public property.
I shan't be re-joining.
Some of your timeline seems to be public (when a photo is involved), your daily comments are not though. The only friends I can see on your friends list are mutual to me on both accounts that I have.
As I have yours ummm, cover photos and profile photos are always public, there is no way to make them "friends only", but yesterday I was given the impression that the general public were able see all my photo albums etc?
excuse my ignorance, but what seems to be the problem here? surely FB is just a social media website for light conversations, and nothing else. am i missing something?
Yeah rocky, that's right, comments on cover photos are shown, and that is why I've tried not to have any convos on them if possible.
I'll deactivate that account if it kills me ;)
It seems some of your photos are public. I'll check properly in a minute as I'll stay on my profile on this computer and use the OH's for my Rocky account (as were not friends on that one) and compare.
Wolfy, no, I have always been able to log in, it's just that my profile looked to me as if I was a new user,...my profile photo was a silhouette, and I had no friends, and no photos.
Lol @ my son helping,...he's worse than I am with techy stuff.
So am I still there in your friend list, with profile pic, etc? Can you read my Timeline and see vids I posted etc?
