I'm trying to find the name of an American Photographer. He has an Eastern European sounding name (I think it ends in "insky" or "ov") His work is very dark, black and white collage type images. The one I remember most is of a baby in an old christening robe type thing, floating earily down a big flight of stairs. I remeber other ones of children dressed in wedding dresses, all very moody and unsettling, but mesmerising. I came across him a few years ago and would love to see his work again, but I just can't remember his name. Any help or idea of where I can look would be very much appreciated.
I have no idea who the artist could be, but do you remember where you saw his work? If it was a museum they often have information about former exhibitions. It could be worth a try.
