Living In A Wooden Shed On My Land
I have owned a piece of land by the river for seven years now I originally lived on my boat moored to it unfortunately I have split up from my wife been accused of something I didn't do and dragged through Crown court which due to the stress and illness I incurred I have been no longer able to run my business so shut it down I have had to sell my boat and all I have left are my tools and my land where I now live in a shared the council have now turned up and want me removed as I live there and have no planning permission do I have a leg to stand on everybody or is it another big brother scenario squashing the man that works hard and pays his way and is no bother to anybody and doesn't sign on the doll or beg for anything is there anyone that can advise me thank you

It sounds to me that the developers that want your land have told the council to try and make you sell it to them. If you haven't admitted it to the council yet I would just deny it, and make sure no one can see into your shed - put up some black out curtains if you have windows
You could also talk to Shelter (or whatever it's called now) or go to the Council and report yourself as homeless.
However if the only solution that is acceptable to you is to carry on living in your shed without any support then let's hope the planning consultant can sort it. However I think that you would need to put things like water/sewerage in place to have a chance and that could be expensive

I did a very quick check with what details you supplied and you should be getting about £50 a week working tax credit , it will be more if you have any form of rent or payments for the shed you are living in.
