Microsoft Service Pack 2

I have a Packard Bell Diamond 1200 Scanner.  After I  download Service Pack 2 my computer says it does not recognize Scanner or Camera...I have tried about 6 times and the same thing happens every time.

Can anybody supply me with the answer

This is not a definitive solution, but worth a try:

Disconnnect the scanner and uninstall the drivers.
Install service pack 2
Install the latest driver from here:
http://support.packardbell.com/uk/mypc/?PibItemNr=692929 0000#show

Reconnect the scanner

You can remove Windows XP SP2 in the add/remove programs bit of the control panel.
