Am I missing something here ? When most of the world has taken up smart phones, where is there the market for a 15 years old design phone ?

There are those amonst us who can survive happily without a smart phone; it maens I can walk around all day without either bumping into someone or getting run over.
I may have posted this before but I had a laugh in Zermatt this summer; I was taking a phot when I heard a young person talking to his friend saying they needed some cash so he using his smart phone to find a bank. I was able to tell him he was standing next to one.
Two main reasons:

1. Ease of use. (There aren't countless menus to work through) ;

2. Far, far longer battery life. (Many smart phones need charging at least once per day and often even more frequently. Using a modern battery on a 3310, even making frequent calls, should see it hold a charge for at least one week, and possibly several).

Yes, I an see both those points boys, but I still can't see this being a big seller....it would be like selling a new car that had window-winders, instead of a button.
We grow a strange attachment to inanimate objects as time goes by (the 'nostalgia' effect perhaps), especially ones which work well.

Zacs....I had a VW Beetle back in 1974. It was my first car and I loved it. It started first time, everytime and never let me down.

I would love to have a drive around for an hour or two in a similar Beetle, but I wouldn't want to own one again !
I am quite happy with my Motarola V3

Yes indeed. It would be like bringing back traditional record players and pressing music onto vinyl once again, wouldn't it? Oh, hang on a minute though . . . ;-)
My current phone is the Nokia 6210, circa 2000 - does everything I want it to do.

It has served me well.

Buenchico......personally I think the present craze for vinyl is plain daft.

I can just about understand it, if its to play brand new records, but my old LPs, gathering dust in the loft would sound just plain awful......all those bloody scratches. Its a fad that will soon pass methinks !
Apparently, it's an update of the original with a large colour screen, so not quite an exact replica. A bit like a new VW beetle Mikey.

I had an original, just checked the 'odds and ***' box, still got it in a bag with its charger, it was good, delivered everything it said it would, and I loved Snake.

Odds and S.o.d.s, Grrrrr!!!!!!
How many Nokia 3310's have destroyed themselves with spontaneous combustion and been banned from airline use , whereas, smart phones? I believe in KISS.
