Potty Time Terrors

My daughter has successfully potty trained my 24 month old grandson (he has been trained for a couple of months). The issue is that whether he uses the potty or a toilet, except when leaning far forward, his "wee" shoots out the front of the potty/toilet.
His "tilly" seems to project forward while needing and having a wee.
Any help with this would be great.

a wee step at the toilet ?
Question Author
He is was only 2 a couple of weeks ago so is still a tot really.
He has a splash guard on his potty, it doesn't seem to matter how he sits, his "tilly" doesn't fit in.
My daughter has the steps in her flat but still the same issue, we have to make sure he leans right over to avoid an accident.
Because of this he can't independently go for a wee.
Has anyone tried the stick on urinals?
I've looked at that one on Amazon, I'll show my daughter and she what she thinks.
Thank you one and all x
