Hi I am thinking of buying a 23" inch frame hybrid bike with a high tensile aluminium frame. I am a 6 foot male about 110kg. Have hired the bike in the past but on one occassion experienced creaking noises from the frame/handle bars. Would I be better going for a heavier alloy frame given my weight or would a brand new bike with a high tensile aluminium frame be ok?

Make and Model of bike? Depends on the quality of the frame welding, particularly around the bottom bracket.
