I just put a large job lot of dolls house furniture on eBay with international visibility.
A few minutes later I get a message from eBay saying that I can not list it internationally due to different sale rules in other countries. Never heard of this before, anyone else had a problem?

Eddie,
Some of the rules are about disputes if the item is not as advertised, and difficult or expensive to return etc.

Also it would be hard to take somebody to court living in another Country.

Have you ever sold on Gumtree around your local area, or wider. I have just sold, lots of stuff on there.

And if anybody is interested, I have 3 framed prints, 45cm x 55cm of historic world speed records, of 'The Mallard', Cunard Liner 'Blue Riband' & a 'Suberplane'.
All can be seen on Gumtree, in the Newmarket area :-)

I have been selling on eBay for over 10 years 1050 +ve feedback.
But never seen that message before.
Still it has 16 views in just over an hour so I think it will sell!
I've seen items from other countries as lots in the UK. How do they get around it ?
Are they wooden?

Some countries don't want foreign wood entering the country.

I know someone who paid £140 for a couple of bits of furniture for a doll's house. That would have been about 15 years ago. I was amazed that anyone would pay that for a toy.

I don't know but my advice is do not sell outside UK, complete nightmare.
