Have You Noticed The Fake 'real' People On Yv?

Some people on TV progs are not 'ordinary Joe Eggs' as I thought but have to be actors I guess. But why the mix and match? I don't get it.
Take the new young couple in Gogglebox. Well the man was in the Talk Talk advert where he said 'Whats everybody laughing at?' Which reminded me that the Fitherfethers or whatever the name is ie rockers in the Wirral, well the silent boyfriend - now not there - was in German ads for tyres. Moving on, in October last year the BEEB had a prog 'Back in time for dinner' with an ordinary modern family participating in an experimental trip back in time to olden days food but the woman is now in the Purple Bricks advert so that prog must have been scripted too.
Scripted reality is cool e.g. 'Made in Chelsea Bun' and 'TOWNIE' etc but why muddle 'documentary' and 'scripted'. It is not better.

Its possible that Roshelle Robshaw got acting work in the purple bricks advert because she did so well in "Back in Time for Dinner"? I did notice that one of the Lodge Masters in the recent docco on the Masons was in a weetabix ad as a Northern Soul fan. That doesn't mean that the docco was scripted or that BITFD was scripted... if folk are looking to be on TV, or do it...

I did notice that one of the Lodge Masters in the recent docco on the Masons was in a weetabix ad as a Northern Soul fan. That doesn't mean that the docco was scripted or that BITFD was scripted... if folk are looking to be on TV, or do it once and find they have a talent for it, they will be watching for opportunities and applying for them so its not surprising to see them turn up in multiple places. There is quite a big cohort of people who do extra-ing as a hobby, some have a speciality which may tie in with their real life, like being Goth or a biker.

''Scripted reality is cool'', Im not sure about that Dance, but agree about the some of the others, which I didnt know.
I think some of them are told what to say, when watching a programme, as it can be very funny, and not a normal remark you would hear, like what the two elderly ladies say, and the bloke from Manchester, with all the dogs, sounds very scripted to me.
As for 'Nutty' he just cracks me up, and not sure about them two!

The actress on the right may look similar to Rochelle Robshaw...but I'm certain its not her.
Several other names have come up, including Gabby Best.
