Chamois Demister Pad

Bought a new one yesterday to mop up condensation inside on the windscreen in the mornings.

Does it need rinsing before use? How often should it be rinsed once in use?

I bought one of these and i didnt rinse it and it left little bits on my windscreen. so im guessing that you are meant to rinse it before use.

Yes it should be washed and rinsed thoroughly before use. Unfortunately it will not clean the screen but just smear the dirt all over whilst mopping up the condensation. A dirty screen will cause condensation more easily than a clean one.

Best is to investigate why the screen is damp. Is there water in the car, do you carry it in with you in your wet hair? Until there is a sufficient combination of warm or dry air over the screen it will mist up.

When you get in your car open the window until the engine has warmed up enough to keep the window clear.
