Does Anyone Have A Solution To My Problem?

I don't have a TV but in the last couple of weeks, I have been watching some programmed on ITV iplayer.

There is a slight problem - after showing the adverts the programme doesn't always resume it at the correct place but pings it back to the beginning. This is annoying.

I thought that it was because I was browsing whilst the adverts were showing - on another tab, but that's not the cause.

It's not an important question but it is annoying me.

Which device are you watching on? Most of the web posts reporting similar matters seem to be related to Android devices (such as phones or tablets) but it seems to be almost unknown on a PC.

I'm on my Laptop using Windows 10 and Firefox.

It's something that I can live with, but it may be that it is something that is easily fixed.

Since the problem seems to be (at least partially) device-dependent, it might also be browser dependent. (So try another browser).

BTW: I uploaded a new album of cat pics last night, together with another album containing a few pics of the lovely, but rather odd, cat ('Silber', as I called him) that spent a few months sharing his time between my house and that of a neighbour earlier this year (before disappearing altogether):

Silber is a handsome looking chap. Your little kittens are all grown up - I hope that they are friendlier to each other than my two idiots.

Are you in any of the photographs?

I have managed to watch a video without it pinging back to the beginning after every advert. It is annoying.

I am so tired but can't sleep for more than an hour or so at a time. I am wandering around like a zombie. I'm being herded up the stairs and back to bed - that must be what Cat Herding is.

I wouldn't inflict that on anybody!

I'm currently feeling trapped as there are loads of things I want to do (like wrapping some Christmas presents, for a start) but Moonbeam has no intention of moving off my knee!
