Samsung Smart Tv, Picture Size.

I have a new 32 inch TV in my office. I get my TV from a BT youview box. On one BT channel I can't get the correct picture size. Every other channel is fine, on Universal I've got black down both sides, picture virtually square. Went to TV settings but it wont change picture size. Even reset TV to factory without luck. Help please.

Are you sure you weren't just watching old programmes on that channel that were recorded in an old 'square' format?

Are you sure that it's not simply because Universal is actually transmitting their programmes in the wrong aspect ratio?
