i always wanted to have a smartphone but my father says i'm too young to have a phone.my elder sister is 16 and she also dosen't have a phone.all my friends in my class have their own phones.their parents could get them then why can't my parents get it?

Their house, their rules. If you are dependent on them, if they don't want to finance you a smartphone, for what ever reason, tough I am afraid.

Perhaps they can't afford/justify the cost.

Just because your friends have phones doesn't mean you have to have.
