My jpg's look sharper than my raw files, so why don't I just shoot in jpg until I really NEED a large raw file?
After all the're not going to be exhibited or anything and most will probably rot in a folder somewhere! I've heard and indeed participated in the discussions & merits of raw's over jpg's and have come to the conclusion that I'm going to shoot in jpg mode in future!
I don't particularly enjoy sitting in front of a monitor for hours when I get more fun out & about shooting.
Happy Easter all.
Thanks both!
The display program is DPP (made by Canon) which I use to save & convert. If I've taken a CR2 (for some reason)then I can get a jpg out of it at any time, so it looks like jpg's from now on.
My default viewer is FastStone (loads the new .CR2 that Lightroom doesn't!)
Cheers all.
