Black Squares / Rectangles Over Computer Screen?

I am getting black squares and rectangles appearing all over my computer screen .
They flash on and off the screen at random ,it is very annoying. Tried Malwarebytes and a system restore but it is still there any ideas? Google Chrome on Windows 7 .

Sounds like a graphics card problem. Either overheating, connection issue, or end of life issues.
If a pc, time to do a 'de-fluff' of the interior and vents, fans. Check lead from case to monitor and if you have a graphics card fitted (rather than onboard graphics) check and reseat the card in the slot.
Also, make sure your graphics card drivers are up to date.

Clear the dust off all the cooling surfaces and vents to allow it to cool properly.

Just installed the latest windows updates and so far,no black squares.Hope it lasts.
