sorry, that went off rather half-*** when I accidentally deleted half of it. I was going to say go through a list of English cities; my guess would be that newer ones don't. In olden times you had to have a cathedral before you became a city, and cathedrals often have saints to call on. That's not requited any more, and I don't think Wolverhampton, for instance, has either a cathedral or a patron saint.
