Brown Dye Maybe Paint On A Lovely Blouse
14 Answers
Love this blouse and accidentally got some brown paint on it some time ago. Would love to get it restored. It is at the front of the blouse but blouse itself has lovely quality material.

Sometimes eucalyptus oil works, sometimes a commercial stain remover is better. Being a messy crafter I am always trying to get stuff out of clothes.
My last resort is to embroider the item but JJ admits she isn't that handy.

you know the stain happened some while ago and I never fussed so nothing was done to it except washed it.
may give it a wee bit of TLC today with some products I have - even if I don't get off a little bit - I can wear it under another top. Thanks for your help. Don't really speak at this time of the morning. good morning x

Cream and silk ok acetone nail varnish remover should be ok dab it on. Leave for about 15 minutes then work a little washing up liquid into it, try to lift any solid areas of paint with your finger nails. Rinse with clean water. You might need to repeat a couple of times. If the cream looks a little discoloured soak the blouse in a bowl of warm water as silk dyes are very unstable and may even out. Wash and dry as normal.
