Eye Test At Home

I have recently received an offer of having an eye test at home, from a company called The Outside Clinic, providing NHS services.

Has anyone had them to their home to carry out what seems a comprehensive eye test?

It states that they take a photo of the back of one's eye, does this save one from attending the annual diabetic eye test which is normally carried out at one's local hospital?

This link (incl video) for home eye tests appears to explain the procedure. It is similar to a normal optical test to assess and calculate the prescription required (if any) for spectacles.

Diabetic Retinopathy screening/grading is explained here:-

It is a specific procedure and if you already attend a diabetic screening I would think that you will still need to have the separate test each year but I am not certain these are available "in the home" yet or - if they are - which areas offer them.

I used to use this service but found them very expensive and had one or two problems with glasses they supplied.
I now you specsavers home service.
