I am trying to crochet a tea cosy in the shape of a cupcake.I am struggling with a stitch clled "backpost half treble " which is used to create the ridged effect of the cake case.Is there any other stitch I can use to create this effect? Any ideas are much appreciated.

Many thanks Dannyk13. It doesn't exactly answer my question, but it is certainly interesting.
I don't crochet but there's a short tutorial on front and back post stitches here - although they are on double it may help.
