Oddly enough I have just received a NIP ,, 36 in a 30 zone.
Quiet road, no fixed cameras, just a sneaky ******** with a mobile gun. A lot of similar roads are targeted in this way to fill the coffers up.

"If it's over 14 days it looks like you can use the "David Beckham" defence if you get a NIP now, unless, of course, you've changed your address and not told DVLA."
The "David Beckham" defence is only applicable if smartypants is not the Registered Keeper(RK) of the vehicle. Mr Beckham was not the RK of his car and only the first NIP (to the RK) is subject to the 14 day rule. Mr Beckham convinced the court (with the testimony of the RK - Bentley Motors) that the first NIP did not arrive in time.
