Balloons And Confetti Etc On Imessage

I know this is only trivial but my effects have stopped working, I have updated my ipad, made sure "reduce motion" is off. I have tried switching imessage off and back on but still no effects.

Have you got 'Reduce Motion' enabled? (It needs to be off). See here:

Yes, 'Reduce Motion' is off and I have tried everything on the link that you advised

Are you due an update? Go into settings and check

Force reboot the iPhone or iPad (hold down the Power and Home button until you see the  Apple logo) Turn iMessage OFF and back ON again through Settings > Messages. Disable 3D Touch (if applicable to your iPhone) by going to Settings > General > Accessibility > 3D Touch > OFF
