Name of film ?

Can anyone name this film ? I think its set in Yorkshire..60's film. Two very young brothers find a baby crawling on the moores, they keep it in a cave.The older boy is called Harry.. Cos the the younger boy, says '' it's a babby, Harry, what we going to call it, shall we call it Rover'' ? Harry says 'no you cant call babby Rover''...

Hope someone can help.

I remember that film too. Me and my brother used to quote " you can`t call a babby Rover " all the time in a Yorkshire accent. Yes, we were sad !! hee hee

Hi Sozzie... Yep I always loved the quote too lol We used to say the same quote a lot, in yorkshire accent. Both my late parents were born and bred in yorkshire.

Hi Sozzie... My hubby, and my friend had no idea what film I was talking about when I asked them, so I wonder how many other people out actually remember the film..It would be good if I could buy it DVD...

Hi Bonny, just been searching the net and there are a few other people also trying to get a copy of this classic. If you look on www.britmovie.com there are people who have VHS copies (off the tv) and will make copies. Did you know that a remake was made in the 90`s ???, I bet the kids were not are funny as the orginals. Hope this helps.
