I think that criticism is a part of everyone's life. Even if that means criticising yourself. But with online, everyone wants to have a say and everyone wants people to agree with them.
I'm not sure what a social media pile is, but if it's anything like heamorrhoids i'm glad i've not been involved in one.
Yes absolutely. Even just this morning my views on a political issue changed due to debate.
Yes adolescence should be held to the same standards as adults because they will soon be one. In some cases all ready are one.
No idea, i'm sure all teenagers feel differently, some will be the public shamers some will be shamed by the public. Aint a one glove fits all thing.
I'm not worried about what i say on the internet, i am anonymous and most are. those who aren't bring it on themselves for putting themselves in the public eye.
i think digital shaming is good for things that people need to be aware of, such as pedophile gags or local issues in local areas like dog thiefs etc.. but when people share photos of homeless with captions like "get out my town" i think that is horrendous.
People feel people should be shamed for things that they should in fact be protected and helped for.
And no, i don't agree with online public shaming, but i also don't disagree with it. Kepp yourself to yourself and you'll live a peaceful life.
